BOTANICAL ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP - With Em Reid
Spend a slow Saturday afternoon immersed in flowers, wine and drawing - as part of Escape ARTfest 2026.
Join floral artist & flower grower Laura and fineline tattoo artist & illustrator Em Reid for an intimate botanical illustration workshop, where you’ll learn to slow down, observe nature and create beautiful graphite studies inspired by fresh seasonal blooms.
Together we’ll gently dissect flowers, explore their unique shapes and textures, and guide you through drawing individual petals, leaves and stems - or, if you prefer, a complete flower from observation.
No experience is necessary. Whether you’ve never picked up a pencil or you love to draw, this workshop is designed to be relaxed, inspiring and accessible for everyone.
